Sony's PlayStation 5 is the company's most popular console to date

The PlayStation 5 is Sony Interactive Entertainment's fastest-selling console, with 10 million copies sold just eight months after its release. That's nearly one month faster than the PlayStation 4, and it all happened during a global pandemic.

SIE has sold over 10 million PlayStation 5 consoles globally as of July 18, 2021. Sony might have reached the milestone sooner if the global pandemic hadn't delayed the supply chain and affected how many large shops do business, resulting in a market ripe for scalpers.

For reference, it required about nine months for Sony to sell its initial 10 million PlayStation 4 control center.

Sony dispatched the PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020, only two days after Microsoft dropped its new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. The computerized release begins at $399 while the base model with an optical drive order is $499. Pre-orders for the PS5 sold out in under 24 hours, and the control center has stayed a hot item from that point forward.

Given the ideal tempest of bots/hawkers/the pandemic, it's been inconceivably hard to track down a cutting-edge console in nature. A fast check over on eBay uncovers that PlayStation 5s are as yet telling anyplace between $700-$900. It is feasible to beat the hawkers, however, you'll require a strong procedure and/or a decent piece of karma.
