Candace Parker is the first female cover athlete in NBA 2K

For the first time in the twenty-two years since the release of NBA 2K, a woman will grace the cover of the basketball simulation game. Candace Parker, a two-time WNBA MVP, and 2016 WNBA Finals MVP are featured on the cover of NBA 2K22's WNBA 25th Anniversary Special Edition.

Parker is one of a few b-ball stars to include on NBA 2K22 bundling. Luka Dončić is the cover competitor on the standard version of the game, while the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition highlights Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

The WNBA 25th Anniversary Special Edition is a GameStop selective (Canadians can get it from EB Games). It's an actual release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and it includes a heap of seven restrictive in-game WNBA shirts, including one for Parker. It costs $70 and it will be accessible on September tenth.

Despite the fact that it's consumed most of the day for 2K to put a female competitor on the front of an NBA game, it's a positive advance forward for portrayal. NBA 2K20 was the principal 2K game to highlight WNBA groups and players, and a WNBA adaptation of the MyPlayer profession mode appeared in NBA 2K21.

EA has been including more ladies in its games titles in the course of the most recent quite a long while. It put 2K to shame by including WNBA major parts in NBA Live 18. EA put ladies on the front of a FIFA title without precedent for 2015. FIFA 2016 was the primary version of the series to highlight ladies soccer players.
