Alabama teen donated hair for kids with cancer in memory of his friend

Now in memory of his childhood friend  who died of cancer  alabama teenager karen moyes cuts off  his hair to donate it  to non-profit organizations that provide  human hair replacements to children and  teenagers facing  medically related hair loss due to  cancer treatments here's that report  seventeen-year-old alabama teen kieran  moyes had long lost  but after six years of growth moist knew  that he and his hair would soon be  parted  as he was bound for the u.s air force  academy  so in memory of his childhood friend who  died of cancer  he chopped them off and donated them to  a non-profit organization  children with hair loss that provides  human hair wigs to kids and young adults  suffering from cancer moise has now  launched a fundraiser called  kieran's curls for cancer through saint  jude  children's research hospital to provide  support to young kids  with cancer i had a friend that passed  away  a few years ago um and i know saint jude  helped his family  so that that's that's when i decided  that st jude was a good  organization to give back to um so  that's when  i i thought you know i bet i can raise a  thousand dollars per inch  um i know people are gonna see that goal  and want to help  and then i guess people just love the  story and wanted to donate more  kieran's curls for cancer has exceeded  expectations and has already raised  nearly thirty five thousand dollars for  saint jude  foundation i'm super proud as a parent  when you can see that your kids actually  kind of you know they're again they're  taking that torch and  they're running with it and they're  trying to give back and help others  moyes is glad that his act of kindness  is now inspiring others.
